Storefronts

Storefronts is a neighborhood-based collaborative. We design and make art interventions challenging the dominant social, economic, and political narratives attempting to define Over-the-Rhine and other Cincinnati neighborhoods.

In 2017, three windows at the Miami University Center for Community Engagement storefront space in Over-the-Rhine were converted to a student- and community-run platform for art that invites neighbors and visitors to engage with challenging issues impacting civic life.

Since then our work has also spilled out into the neighborhood, and beyond.  We’ve produced creative public input engagements, multi-media installations, large format photo exhibits, video projections, poetry, and performance.
